Jacob--It's cool to make friends with the zebras. They're a lot like horses. If you're calm, they're calm. They're pretty soft, actually.
Johann—I loved Sabbath!
Especially all the singing.
Narce—The kids are so cute! We had over 200 of them at VBS tonight.
Chaplain Rob—we saw a lot of cool animals at the watering hole
today: wildebeasts, zebras,
antelope, storks, egrets and others.
Haley—We met some kids who were Pathfinders and who had gone to
Osh Kosh.
Abigail—I loved talking with people and learning about the
different cultures. It was
fascinating.
Johann—I met Hendrick who told me about the geography.
Flexibility Awards:
1) the girls who got stuck
in the shower when the electricity went out; 2) Cook Christi
who has had to make a lot of
adjustments with the food and the cooking; 3) Eric who did a good job of preaching tonight; 4) Everyone who got through the long day
in the hot sun at the crowded church.
