11 Hours Before Take-off!

At 17 hours prior to take-off, the Alumni Conference Room in TAA's Ad Building was packed with packing people.  Parents, family members, students, and staff members were bustling around packing suitcases (filling in empty spaces with hard hats, gloves, tape measures, and medical equipment) and weighing them, making sure to stick to the 50 pound limit.  One observers described the atmosphere as "both excited and labored."  And indeed it was.

While the work went on for a number of hours, Pastor Jay and wife DeeDee and Chaplain Rob were arriving in Zambia, immediately beginning to pave the way for the rest of the group (the majority) who will arrive sometime on Wednesday.

To say we are excited is an understatement.  To say we can't wait would be more than true.  We are excited and we can't wait to get started!  Pray for us!  We will need it every step of the way!
